В статье рассмотрена история русского парохода Добровольного флота, а позже госпитального судна «Казань», захваченного в гавани Порт-Артура и ставшего японским «Касадо Мару». В 1945 г. он был потоплен у западного побережья Камчатки, также рассмотрены обстоятельства и причины его гибели.

Three Lives of the Kasado Maru
The article examines the history of the Russian steamship of the Volunteer Fleet, and later the hospital ship «Kazan», captured in the harbor of Port Arthur and became the Japanese «Kasado Maru». In 1945, it was sunk off the western coast of Kamchatka, and the circumstances and reasons for its death are also examined.
