Новый взгляд на старый пожар

(Как в ноябре 1939 г. сгорел бывший дом губернатора Камчатки)
В публикации рассказывается о пожаре, случившемся в Петропавловске 21 ноября 1939 г. Тогда сгорел бывший дом губернатора Камчатки дореволюционной постройки. В деревянном 2-этажном здании размещался Камчатский облисполком, горсовет, обком ВЛКСМ и редакции газет. На чердаке здания сгорел тогда областной архив. Именно поэтому сейчас документы органов исполнительной власти области и города 1930-х гг. представлены в краевом архиве не в полном объёме.

A new look at an old fire
The publication tells about the fire that happened in Petropavlovsk on November 21, 1939. The former Kamchatka Governor’s pre-revolutionary house burned down then. The wooden two-storeyed building housed the Kamchatka oblast executive committee, the city council of the oblast committee of VLKSM, and newspaper offices. In the attic of the building, the regional archive burned down in a fire then. That is why now the documents of the oblast and city executive bodies of 1930s are not presented in full in the regional archive.
