The publication is based on a partial translation of the two-volume work of the Russian explorer, naturalist and ethnographer, corresponding member (1803) and extraordinary academician (1812) of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences Georg Heinrich von Langsdorff “Observations during a trip around the world in 1803–1807” about the circumnavigation of the the ship "Nadezhda" under the command of I. F. Krusenstern. Exploration of Kamchatka in the first half of the 19th century.
